The Colleton County Cougar Soccer team was shut out 9-0 by Fort Dorchester on Tuesday April 12 in an away match.
“Shelton Reynolds played strong in the midfield,” said Coach Shane Fidler. “Dawson Fitch also played well up top, but we have got to give better effort from start to finish.”
The Cougars earned their second win of the season against Bamberg-Ehrhardt the following evening in a 2-1 nail-biter.
Brandon Brown scored both of Colleton County’s goals.
“Shelton Reynolds played an amazing game with an assist and countless momentum-changing plays,” said Fidler. “No one is more competitive than Shelton.”
The JV team lost 7-0 against Fort Dorchester and came up short in a 2-1 loss against Bamberg-Ehrhardt.
Both teams will be back in action this week against Bluffton.
