Mr. Michael Anthony Morris, Jr., 41, of Cottageville, entered into rest Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024, at his residence while under Hospice care and surrounded by his loving family. Born January 5, 1983, in Orange Park, Florida, he was a son of Michael Anthony Morris, Sr. and Carlene Kaye Bunton.  He worked with Four Holes Sales and Service for the past fifteen years as a diesel mechanic.  He was known by most of his family and friends as “Uncle Buddy”, “Bubba”, and “Junior”. He will always be remembered for his love of drag racing, working on cars, his dogs and spending time with his wife and daughters, also his racing family.  He was an outdoorsman and dearly loved hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his parents are: his wife of nineteen years, Trista Renee Pacetti Morris; two children, Lacey Morris and Hayden Morris; three brothers, Justin Mellette, Joshua Morris, and Brandon Havener; a sister, Angel Morris (Christian); four dear friends, Bruce Manypenny, Wesley Cline (Christyne), George Sheetz (Becky), and Howard Westbury (Laura); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Donna Pacetti; his grandmother, Sharon Bunton; and his grandfather, Phillip “Pop” Bunton.
