The Forest Hills Tennis Center has received an update, with the resurfacing and restriping of the courts. The updates repaired surface issues and allowed an updated look for the courts themselves.
The six-court complex had included pickle ball court markings on one of the courts and the decision to not restripe brought a number of concerned citizens to the City Council meeting on April 2nd. After hearing the citizens’ comments, the council supported replacing the pickle ball markings on Court #6.
In a statement from City Manager Jeff Molinari he commented, ”The pickle ball lines on court #6 at the Forest Hills Tennis Center will be installed and this work should be completed in the next couple of weeks.”
