The Colleton County Boys Basketball team find themselves in second place following a 57-55 set-back to James Island Trojans. With the loss, the Cougars saw their record dropped to 5-2 in the region and 15-8 overall.
The Cougars did defeat Hilton Head Island High School 72-55. CCHS were got 23 points from Mykeem Gant, 20 points from Da’Veon Varner and 12 points from Brain Harrison. Also, the Cougars managed to defeat Bluffton 56-47.
The Cougars are being paced by Mykeem Gant with 14.1 points and 2.5 assists per game. Nick Williams is leading the team in rebounds with 5.7 boards per game.
