The Colleton Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) will be awarding two $1,000.00 Ag Scholarships to graduating seniors or current college students from Colleton County. The scholarship checks will be written directly to the college/university the students plan to attend.
These students must be already attending or planning to attend and have been accepted by a college, university, or technical college to pursue a degree in an agricultural or natural resources related field such as: vocational agriculture, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, agronomy, wildlife biology, forestry, horticulture, agricultural education, etc.
Applications can be mailed to or dropped off at the Colleton Soil and Water Conservation District Office located in the USDA Service Center at 531 Robertson Blvd.; Suite B; Walterboro, S.C.; 29488. For scholarship applications, please call 843-549-1821 ext. 101 or email sharon.hrvol@sc.nacdnet.net. The deadline for all applications will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Applications will not be accepted after this deadline.
