CMC to limit entrances, visitors during hurricane

As Hurricane Dorian approaches the South Caroline coastline, Colleton Medical Center is asking patients and family members to utilize only the ER entrance and to limit visiting hours and guests to two per patient and only between 8 am and 3 pm. This change is effective at 8 pm tonight.

“Our goal is to keep everyone safe and well throughout the peak impact of this storm,” said CEO Jimmy Hiott. “Rest easy and stay safe during the storm. We believe in caring for our patients like family. Know that your loved ones will be in good hands until the storm passes and you can once again visit safely.”

Guests will enter via the ER. This monitoring enables the hospital to be aware of everyone within the facility during critical weather events in order to ensure their safety.

We will provide safety tips and updates throughout this weather event via our Facebook pages at Facebook.com/ColletonMedical.
