At a recent Rotary meeting, Sam Hazel, water projects chairman, received a check from Rotary president Lawton Huggins and assistant District Governor Bill Steadman. The club will partner with The Chicora Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach to fund Water Mission Peru in their efforts to supply Doce de Abril, Peru, with healthy water. This international project is one of many in which Walterboro Rotarians have participated. Pictured are Sam Hazel (center), Lawton Huggins (left) and Bill Steadman (right.)
