This past Sunday, Faith Baptist Church celebrated 16 years of having Pastor Tony Jones and his family.
Jones was called by Faith Baptist Church to be their pastor on April 27, 2003. Faith Baptist Church has known unity and spiritual growth since he began leading the church family.
Jones and his family moved to Walterboro from West Virginia. He and his wife Amanda have four children, who all serve together in the ministry.
Jones emphasizes his ministry based on clear Bible preaching and teaching, a personal outreach effort in the community and caring for the members of his church and the community.
Jones is excited about the future of his ministry here in Walterboro and Colleton County. “There is so much potential for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to impact more lives as we experience growth in our community!”
Faith Baptist Church believes that a pastor is needed for a long-term relationship with his people, to disciple and to assist the spiritual growth of the families under his care. Jones has committed his entire life to the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ and plans on being at Faith Baptist Church and in Colleton County for many more years to come.
