150 cyclists competed in the 2019 Walterboro Criterium in downtown Walterboro last week with 63 children in the children’s races.
The VIP area entertained 150-200 race-watchers with catering by Jimmy Fitts and music by Scotty Craven and David Garrett. “I think things went really well. The VIP tent had a fun crowd and good spot to watch race from. This was the race’s 17th year, and we are already planning for 18th,” said Walterboro Tourism Director Christan Spires.
