A chicken dinner benefit will be held on Saturday May 4 at the Welch Creek Civic Center for Tyler Westbury.
The 18-year-old was diagnosed two years ago with epithelioid sarcoma, one of only nine children in the world to have this type of cancer which has no cure. Tyler is the son of Stephen and Tiffany Westbury.
The dinner will feature a leg quarter, cole slaw, baked beans, roll and drink for $10/plate.
“The Straight Shooters” will provide entertainment. Raffles, face painting, a jump castle and other activities will be available.
