“The season has been fun so far,” said assistant coach Katelyn Willis. “We’ve picked up a few good wins and our girls have gained some good playing time experience before getting into region play. We have a tough upcoming tri-match versus Branchville High School and Wade Hampton. We’ve been using the last few weeks to see our rotations and things we may need to work on or change for both teams. We are excited to really get started. We know we have a tough region this year and we’re doing everything we can to get the girls physically and mentally prepared for it.”
The Lady Cougars were scheduled for a home tri-match versus Branchville and Wade Hampton Wednesday Sept. 5.
