Lady Cougar XC finishes No. 1 in Battle of Camden

The Colleton County Cross Country team competed in the Canal Wood Battle of Camden on Saturday Aug. 25. The Lady Cougars earned a first-place finish in the event, besting White Knoll, Wilson Hall, Camden, Lugoff-Elgin and Westwood. The Cougars finished sixth in an eight-team field.
Individual results for the girls include: 2 – Sierra Obenaus 00:22:33.69; 3 – Stacey Bennett 00:22:36.70; 7 – Kayla Dantzler 00:23:34.21; 10 – Kensley Dantzler 00:23:49.78; 16 – Lauren Reynolds 00:24:53.99; 23 – Grace Reynolds 00:26:29.32; 27 – Dorothy Dessoye 00:28:25.45.
The boys’ finishes are as follows: 18 – Blaine Cook 00:20:26.42; 31 – Gabriel Hans 00:22:11.35; 38 – Wyatt O’Quinn 00:22:40.19; 42 – Evan Stobel 00:23:13.65; 49 – Nathan Erwin 00:24:15.30 and 54 – Tyler Scites 00:24:48.05.
