Free school supplies, uniforms to be distributed at three events

Three events are planned to offer free school supplies and/or uniforms for Colleton County students.
Aimwell Presbyterian Church at Neyles Crossroads will offer two free school uniforms and grade-related school supplies for ages 3K-8th grade on Saturday July 28 from 10 a.m.-noon at the church, 8925 Charleston Hwy., Round O.
Doors will remain open for two hours or until capacity is reached, whichever comes first. Children must be present and accompanied by an adult with a driver’s license or official ID.
Bethel Presbyterian Church will give away free school uniforms and supplies for grades K4-8 beginning with pre-registration on Friday Aug. 3 from 4-7 p.m. On Saturday Aug. 4 registratrion will be from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and distribution from 10 a.m.-noon at the church, 403 Church St., Walterboro. Each child will receive two school uniforms, underwear and socks, as well as age-appropriate school supplies and a book to read for enjoyment. Children must attend on Saturday to receive supplies.
Each child may attend only one of the church events.
Also on Saturday Aug. 4, the 11th annual Back-To-School Bash will be from 9 a.m.-noon at the Colleton County High School gym for ages K-12. Activities will include food, games, prizes, free school supplies and music. All activities are free, but parents and children must be present to win prizes or receive supplies.
