SHERIDEN GARRETT

Garrett managing editor of magazine
Sheriden Chanel Garrett is a writer and managing editor of the popular woman’s lifestyle site xoNecole.com, catering to women of color.
The Colleton County native spends her days managing writers, developing share-worthy content, as well as covering press events like red carpets and group interviews with A-list celebs like Taraji P. Henson and Gabrielle Union. She also rubs elbows with mega-producer Will Packer, whose media company recently acquired xoNecole. She looks forward to covering this year’s ESSENCE festival, as well as the other upcoming projects she has on the editorial calendar for the years to come.
She is the granddaughter of Lee and Leola Garrett and the daughter of fellow Colleton County Lee Garrett Jr.

Gregorich named to dean’s list
Haley A. Gregorich of Round O has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. A graduate of Colleton County High School, she is a member of the Class of 2019 majoring in anthropology.
The list requires a grade point average of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale.
