Sleeping man shot on Savage Street | News | The Press and Standard

Walterboro Police officers arrived at 429 Savage St. at 1:24 a.m. Nov. 10 to find a man standing on the front porch with apparent gunshot wounds to the right shoulder and left foot.
The man and two female residents of the home said they were asleep when they were awakened by gunfire. The gunfire appeared to be concentrated on the male victim’s bedroom, and the two females were not injured.
None of the victims could provide any information on the gunmen.
The man was transported to Trident Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Fire-Rescue crews used a gas detector to inspect the home as a gas line was damaged by a bullet.
The Walterboro Police Department is investigating the incident.
