Former Lady Cougar softball and basketball standout Briana Chisolm has returned to Colleton County High School — this time as a member of the coaching staff.
Chisolm will join Coach Perry Smalls and the Lady Cougars basketball coaching staff as assistant head coach of the varsity team and will also join the softball coaching staff in the spring.
A 2017 graduate of Claflin University in Orangeburg, she received her B.S. degree in sports management. While there, she was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), National Society of Leadership and Success and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.
Currently, Chisolm is holding a long-term substitute position at CCHS, but plans to pursue a master of education in the future.
“My goal is to have a positive impact in the community and on my players,” said Chisolm.
