The third annual Brag About Walterboro Campaign will be held Oct- 28-Nov. 5.
The program, sponsored by the City of Walterboro, encourages citizens all over Colleton County to display signs outside their homes and businesses for one week this fall.
“Brag About Walterboro is a movement meant to inspire community pride, and remind our residents what they love about Walterboro. From Spanish moss to Southern hospitality, we want to brag about all our city has to offer,” said Michelle Strickland, tourism director.
The campaign, consisting of the visible statement of roadside signs, also includes advertisements in print, broadcast and social media, partnerships and spin-off events with local businesses, schools and philanthropic organizations, and essay and drawing contests for children.
Join the event page and share your photos! Use the hashtag #walterborobrag to be part of the movement.
