Colleton County School District leaders have made the decision to resume school on Wednesday Sept. 13 on a two-hour delay after an assessment of conditions on the impact of Hurricane Irma.
The instructional day for the early childhood center, elementary schools and the middle school will begin at 10 a.m. and the high school will begin at 9:55 a.m. Breakfast will not be served and bus schedules will be adjusted to pick up students two hours later than their normal pick up time. Staff members should report two hours later than their normal start time.
All after-school activities or events will operate as normal with the exception of the elementary Robotics.
The safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority. If your child is unable to return to school safely, please contact your child’s school. Additionally, if an employee is unable to return to work safely that employee should contact his/her supervisor.
