Irma closes library | Irma Update | The Press and Standard

Colleton Memorial Library Director Carl Coffin has announced that the library is closed as of noon today and will remain closed until Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The reopening would be further delayed, he added, if the inclement weather expected in the area due to Hurricane Irma causes damage to the library.

Coffin also asks residents not to use the after hours depository to return items to the library while the facility is closed.

Anyone with a book or other item that has a due date during the period of closure will not be fined if the item is returned the day the library reopens.
