Salk students, professor inducted into Palmetto College | News | The Press and Standard

Six Salkehatchie students and one professor were inducted into the Palmetto College honor society Alpha Sigma Lamda recently. Induction is based on high grade point averages of students enrolled in the four-year bachelor’s of arts in liberal studies and bachelor’s of arts in organizational leadership Palmetto College degrees. Students inducted are Jennifer Breland, Walterboro; Ashleigh Close, Allendale; Samantha Lyons, Walterboro; Linda Manigo, Walterboro; Philip Stanley, Barnwell;  and Ebony Williams, Islandton. Dr. Wei Kei Lai, associate professor of Math, was also inducted as a faculty member.  Pictured with the students and Dr. Lai are Dr. Aaron Ard, USC Salk associate dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chris Nesmith, associate vice chancellor for Palmetto College and Dr. Susan Elkins, chancellor of Palmetto College.
