Walterboro women killed in crash | News | The Press and Standard

Two Walterboro women were killed in a four-vehicle accident in Charleston County on the morning of March 24.
Margaret O’Hear, 72, of Walterboro, died at the Trauma Unit of the Medical University of South Carolina the afternoon of March 24.
Her passenger, Antonia Jackson, 70, of Walterboro, died at MUSC on Sunday.
According to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the accident on Savannah Highway near Main Street, O’Hear was driving north on Savannah Highway when her car was struck shortly before 11 a.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of a GMC vehicle was traveling south on Savannah Highway when he hit the rear of a stopped Ford vehicle.
The driver of the GMC then entered the northbound lanes and struck O’Hear’s vehicle.
O’Hear’s vehicle was then hit by another northbound vehicle.
