Walterboro man gets four years on drug charge | Court | The Press and Standard

A Walterboro man was sentenced to prison when he pled guilty to a 2014 drug charge when he appeared in Colleton County General Sessions Court this week.
Carlton Sinclair, 52, of Walterboro, pled guilty to a charge of trafficking in heroin or morphine. After his plea, Visiting Judge R. Lawton McIntosh informed Sinclair he would spend four years in prison. He was fined $25,000.
Sinclair had been charged with having over 100 grams of crack cocaine in possession. He was arrested on Sept. 9, 2014.
 James S. Howard, 48, of St. George, pled guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property, was ordered to serve 238 days of a three-year prison term and then spend five years on probation.
 James J. Johnson 33, of Walterboro, pled guilty to charges of distribution of crack cocaine and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
Johnson was ordered to serve 90 days of a five-year prison term on the drug charge. He was ordered to serve 90 days of a one-year prison term and then 40 months on probation on the weapon charge.
 Neal H. Ferguson Jr., 57, of Walterboro, pled guilty to a change of first-degree assault and battery, was given a suspended 10-year prison term and placed on probation for five years.
 DeShawn L. Myers, 24, of Green Pond, pled guilty to first-degree assault and battery, was given a suspended five-year prison term and placed on probation for five years.
 Isaiah H. Williams, 21, of Charleston, pled guilty to a charge of strong armed robbery and was ordered to serve up to six years in custody under the state’s Youthful Offender Act and then spend five years on probation.
 Marlene Teeling, 48, of Walterboro pled guilty to a charge of trafficking of crack cocaine, was given a suspended six-year prison term and placed on probation for five years.
 Courtney A. Terry, 24, of Round O, pled guilty to a charge of neglect of a child, was given a suspended five-year prison term and placed on probation for five years.
 Joseph A. Mack Jr., 19, of Walterboro, pled guilty to two counts of third-degree burglary, was ordered to spend up to six years in custody under the state’s Youthful Offender Act and then spend five years on probation.
 Joshua Bell, 20, of Walterboro, pled guilty to a charge of third-degree burglary, was ordered to spend up to six years in custody under the state’s Youthful Offender Act and then serve five years’ probation.
 Jayvondee D. Wilson, 27, of Beaufort, pled guilty to a charge of habitual traffic offender, was given a suspended 36-month prison term and placed on probation for 30 months.
 Derrick L. Walker Jr., 31, of Walterboro, pled guilty to a charge of unlawful carrying of a pistol and was given a suspended six-month prison term.
 Miriah Munoz, 19, of Lubbock, Texas, pled guilty to a charge of cruelty to children and was sentenced to time served.
 Sylina J. Richards, 27, of Walterboro, pled guilty to a charge of identity fraud and was sentenced to time served.
 Patrick D. Salley, 30, of Spartanburg, pled guilty to obtaining property under false pretenses and was sentenced to time served.
