Born April 22, 1966, in Colleton County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Edward Hoff and the late Patricia Rose Ackerman. She received her education from John C. Calhoun before graduating from Walterboro High School, Class of 1983. In the thirty years she spent in the education field, Kristin touched the lives of thousands of students. Her most recent position was as the Principal of Harleyville Elementary School in Harleyville. Kristin was a passionate educator who made sure the children to whom she devoted her life were always taught in a student-first environment. Kristin was deeply rooted in Christ and treasured her collection of Crosses which represent our Savior’s unfailing love.
