Anthony Manigo, with Airport Manager Roger Medlin, gives the cockpit a try during Saturday’s Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles flights at Lowcountry Regional Airport. The program allows students ages 8-17 in the Young Eagles program a chance to learn about aviation with area pilots. “The program is about raising Young Eagles to become pilots, using aviation to build self-esteem in young people to become successful,” Medlin said.
