Athletic Awards: Football – SCISA Class A Runner-Up (2015, 2016) and a four-year varsity letterman, Basketball – four-year varsity letterman, Baseball – two-year letterman.
Colleges of Interest: Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Newberry College, The Citadel and Valdosta State
Intended Major and Career: Forestry
Collegiate Athletics: I am undecided, but may pursue a football walk-on.
Early Years: I began playing basketball at age seven. I remember my dad teaching me the fundamentals. We still play 1-on-1 sometimes.
On Football: Because football is a team sport, it requires you to trust that the guy beside you does his job. It creates a bond and a trust that goes beyond the playing field.
Role Model: I consider Coach Tracy Burttram a great role model. He is passionate about the game of football and gives his all to better the players — not only as athletes, but also as young men.
Impact Educator: Mrs. Lusby, my English teacher over the past three years, has helped me achieve more by always pushing and expecting my best work possible.
Powerful High School Lesson: I was held back a year due to medical reasons. I was nervous about being in a class of people I didn’t know too well. Now, I have great friends who accepted me and I am very happy to be a member of the Class of 2017.
Meet & Greet: I would like to meet my great-grandfather, Malcolm Warren, because I believe there is so much I could have learned from him.
Surprising Warren Fact: My shoe size is 19.
On CPA: If there was one thing I could change, it would be the lunch menu.
