Members of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church served a free Thanksgiving dinner to nearly 300 people last week at the church. This was the first year the church held the event, but plans are to make it an annual feast, said organizer Erin Padgett. “I just want everyone who helped to know how grateful I am. Without them, it wouldn’t have gotten done,” she said. She estimates about 20 people donated their time to help at the event, and all of the food and other expenses were paid for with donations.

St. Anthony’s Church is a small parish-fortunate to have parishioners with huge hearts! They are b
lessed to have wonderful cooks, who are generous with their time! .. I loved being a member 1969-2000 !
