USC Salkehatchie split two non-conference games this week, with a loss on the road and a win at home.  The Indians are now 3-1 on the season in non-conference play.
The Indians lost 91-86 Tuesday Nov. 8 on the road against Florida State-Jacksonville. Vernon Lowndes led Salkehatchie with 22 points. Jahlin Smith added 15 points and Reggie Wright had 14 points in the game.
Against Combine Academy last Friday evening, the Indians earned their third win of the season in a 98-89 win at home. Lowndes again led the Indians, scoring 24 points in the game. Smith had 15 points, Marques Sumner had 13 points and Austin Stone added 10 points for Salk.
Salkehatchie was scheduled to host South Georgia State on Tuesday evening and will host Middle Georgia Prep Friday in the Walterboro gym at 7 p.m.
