A Festival of Trees is under way through Dec. 5 at the Colleton Museum and Farmers Market.
Over 40 decorated Christmas trees will be available for silent auction.
The schedule of events includes:
Thurs., Dec. 1
View the Trees! 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Silent Auction of the Trees continues; Tickets Adults $4, Seniors $3, Children $1; “Deck Your Halls” Christmas Décor Workshop, $10 per person 6 – 8 pm
Fri., Dec. 2
View the Trees! 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Silent Auction of the Trees continues; Tickets Adults $4, Seniors $3, Children $1; Marathon Reading of “A Christmas Carol” – Free – 2 – 4 p.m.
Sat., Dec. 3
View the Trees from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The Silent Auction of the Trees will continue with tickets for adults $4, seniors $3, and children $1.
From 10–11 a.m., Teddy Bear Breakfast will be held. Participants may bring their Teddy for breakfast and a Teddy Bear Health Clinic. Live Carolers.
Father Christmas will arrive in his Colleton County Sleigh from 11 a.m.–1 p .m. Children can visit and make a Christmas list with him. Then from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., a Candy Cane Maze will be set up.
That evening from 6–9 p.m., the “Shake Your Sugar Plums” Dance And Silent Auction will be held with food by Jimmy Fitts Catering and live music by Michael Hulett from Savannah. The Silent Auction of trees will last until 8 p.m. Admission is $40 per person, $75 per couple. Proceeds go to Colleton Museum’s Children’s programming.
