Robin Harrison has opened the doors to her new real estate business, Carolina Homes & Land Realty, at a familiar location on Bells Highway. Two well-known real estate agents in the community, Sara White and Joan Bruce, also work in the office. The company may be new, but together Harrison, White and Bruce have a combined total of 74 years of real estate experience.
Harrison’s professional life began working in several offices in Walterboro before she started in 1998 working for a specialty metals business Teledyne, located in the Industrial Area in Walterboro (which was later bought out by Allegheny Ludlum.)
“I displayed my drive for excelling at whatever I do by starting as an administrative assistant and then being promoted into several positions,” she said. She spent the last four years that the business was open as the assistant plant manager until the plant was closed and moved to Chicago, Ill., in 2013.
While working for Allegheny Ludlum, Robin decided to get her real estate license. After working as an agent for several years, she decided to get her broker license, thinking she might open her own business one day. That day came, and she decided to start Carolina Homes & Land Realty. “I contribute my success in real estate to being dedicated, ethical and conducting business in a professional manner,” she said.
“I invite you to stop by the office and let me or one of our agents help assist you with your real estate needs. My motto is ‘The Right Agent Makes All The Difference’ and I strive to be the right agent for all of my real estate clients,” Harrison said.
