Colleton First Steps still needs your help in making Christmas merry and bright for Colleton County children.  At last check, 166 children have yet to be “adopted”.  Those who can’t fully “adopt” a child can purchase a single toy for a child ages birth to 11 years old, make a cash donation, or provide a gift card.  Any type donation would be appreciated.

Boxes have been placed at Walker Tax & Accounting at 1476 Jefferies Hwy., the Colleton First Steps office at 609 Colleton Loop, and at the Chamber of Commerce at 403 E. Washington Street for donations.  All donations go to Colleton County children who have been vetted by the DSS staff.

Those who would like to make a donation but can’t drop it off may call First Steps.  Arrangements can be made have donations picked up.  For more information contact Cindy Dickerson at Colleton County First Steps, 843-599-8787 or 843-542-949 or email cdickerson@scfirststeps.org.  You can make a difference!
