Polo this Sunday at Limehouse Polo Field | News | The Press and Standard

On Sunday Oct. 30, the Colleton Center and the Limehouse family will host the eighth annual Polo for the Point. This benefit polo match will be held at the Limehouse Polo Field, Highway 15 N, 7201 Jefferies Highway, approximately seven miles north of Walterboro. Proceeds will benefit The Colleton Center and be used to continue the preservation and restoration of the performing arts center. A tailgating event, Polo for the Point is open to the public. The gates will open at 12 noon, with activities beginning at 1 p.m., and the game at 2 p.m. Activities will also include best tailgate and best hat contests, traditional stomping of the divots, and for children, pony rides, trick or treating, face painting and Balloons by Becky.  There will also be many raffle and silent auction items offered. General admission for adults is $10 in advance and $15 at the gate, and $5 for children under 12 in advance or at the gate.  Tickets are available in Walterboro at Consignment Envy, It’s Retail Therapy, the S.C.
