Athletic Honors: Cougar Football Captain, Leadership Group, Play-of-the-Game (2016, interception v. Hardeeville-Ridgeland)
Colleges of Interest: Coastal Carolina
Intended Major: Psychology
Collegiate Sports: Yes, I hope to play college football.
Career Goals: I hope to continue to play football and my ultimate goal is to play in the NFL one day. In addition, I intend to become a psychiatrist.
Early Years: I began playing football at six years old. I remember jumping over kid during flag football to get the flag of the opposing team.
On Football: I love the life it gives me. It is my home-away-from-home and my happy place where I can go to anytime.
Role Model: My granddad, Elijah Williams, is my role model. He has changed so many people’s life by bringing them back to God. He teaches me and shares his wisdom every day.
Impactful Moment: One day at football practice, things weren’t going my way and I was feeling frustrated with myself. As I went to leave practice, Coach Troy McWilliams stopped and gave me some great advice. He said to never quit and don’t let bad days stop you from doing what you love. He reminded me to stay humble and play football. His words greatly influenced me and changed my way of thinking about the game. Because he is a man of few words, his wisdom had special meaning to me.
On High School: I’ve learned to not waste valuable time.
Influential Educator: Mrs. Henderson, one of my sixth-grade teachers, stood out because she cared for me like her own son. She is a special teacher and I was very lucky to have her.
Surprising Jameson Fact: I can dance.
Meet & Greet: If I could meet one person, it would be Bruce Lee because I would love to discover more about the way he thinks about life and gain some of his wisdom and knowledge.
