Clemson Extension’s Family & Community Leaders (FCL) will hold its annual Holiday House Craft Fair on Saturday Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in conjunction with the Colleton County Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is located at the Colleton Museum at 506 E. Washington Street.
The highlights of this annual event are the arts and craft sales and soup and chili luncheon.  New this year, FCL is partnering with 4-H to help children ages 3-10 make and take home Christmas ornaments.
All proceeds from the Holiday House Craft Fair support FCL programs and community service activities. The Family & Community Leaders (formerly known as Extension Homemakers) are dedicated to strengthening families and communities through education and service. The issues featured in FCL programming include family life, the environment, financial resources, nutrition, and food safety. Current community projects support local nursing homes, foster children, organ donation, and environmental responsibility. Throughout the year, FCL members have many opportunities to gain and share unbiased, research-based information that will improve the quality of life for the residents of Colleton County.
For more information on the Holiday House Craft Fair or on the Family & Community Leaders, contact Clemson Extension agent Alta Mae Marvin at 549-2595 ext. 126 or amarvin@clemson.edu.
