THIS MESSAGE IS FOR TEST PURPOSES ONLY. NO EARTHQUAKE IS ACTUALLY OCCURRING IN THE MENTIONED AREA.
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON, SC HAS ISSUED A PRACTICE EARTHQUAKE INFORMATION TEST FOR ALL COUNTIES IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA LISTENING AREA TODAY.
THIS INCLUDES THE COUNTY OF COLLETON.
REPEAT … THIS IS A PRACTICE EARTHQUAKE INFORMATION TEST. NO EARTHQUAKE IS ACTUALLY OCCURRING. THIS PRACTICE INFORMATION TEST IS BEING CONDUCTED AS PART OF EARTHQUAKE AWARENESS WEEK, WHICH PROMOTES EARTHQUAKE SAFETY.
AT THIS TIME YOU SHOULD REVIEW AND/OR IMPLEMENT YOUR EARTHQUAKE PROCEDURES. ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN SOUTH CAROLINA HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EARTHQUAKE DRILL TODAY.
