Representatives from Boeing visited Walterboro last week to discuss the company and its future workforce needs. About 50 interested people listened to Lindsay Leonard, senior director of Boeing S.C. for national strategy and engagement government operations; Kelly Halliwell, global corporate citizenship; and Frank R. Hatten, strategy and integration education relations. Boeing promotes workforce development by offering tours of its Charleston plant and sponsoring Boeing Dreamliners Camp at USC Salkehatchie each summer. Pictured are Hatten with Dr. Queenie Crawford and Denise Mitchell with Leonard.
