WALTERBORO – Mr. Jeffery Floyd Stanfield, age 49, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday afternoon, August 29, 2016, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Thursday morning, September 1, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born September 8, 1966 in Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of Mrs. Mary Grace Robertson and the late Mr. Harry Monroe “Pete” Stanfield. He was a contractor and enjoyed anything he could build. He was of the Christian faith and was an avid outdoorsman. A typical country boy, he loved fishing, hunting, camp fires and being with friends. He never met a stranger.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Walterboro are: his loving companion, Mrs. Gail Catterton Williams; a son, Morris Frank Burns; a daughter, Shari Donice Williams; two brothers, James Monroe Stanfield (Gigi) and Joey Scott Stanfield, Sr. (Susie) all of Walterboro; and two sisters, Mary Angel Stanfield Carter (Anthony Ray) and Tammy Chambers (Kevin) all of Walterboro. There is a grandchild, Aidan Idalia Risher as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
