The Colleton KEYS Coalition (keeping every youth safe) is concerned about what is happening in our community, both to our youth and adults alike. The Coalition believes that recent youth tragedies have yielded tremendous family, personal and community stress that could use serious discussion.
A discussion will be held on July 26 from 2-3 p.m. in the meeting room of the Colleton County Library on Hampton St.
The discussion will be facilitated by Louise K. Johnson, director of the Division of Children and Adolescents, and their families with the S.C. Department of Mental Health. Johnson’s 30 years of experience as an advocate for children and adolescent needs may provide our community with much needed information and strategies to “keep every youth safe.”
Attendance is free.
