Mrs. Amy Simpson Crosby, 60, of Walterboro, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. She was the widow of Mr. Thomas Frampton Crosby.

Funeral services were held 3 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Born November 24, 1955 in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. Simpson and Gertrude Dukes Simpson. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Known to everyone as “Momma Amy”, she will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends and especially her love of cooking for everyone.

Surviving are: her children, Lorie Stanley, Stephen Westbury, and Phillip Crosby, all of Walterboro, and Tonya Tager, Todd Crosby and Chad Crosby, all of Cope; grandchildren, Jessica, Hunter, Whitney, Cameron, Tyler, Bradley, Jace, Alana, Kendall, Nikki, Savannah, Hannah, Ansley, Jeffrey, TC, Allie, and Jacob; several great grandchildren; brother, Glenn Simpson of Rowesville; and sister, Louise Rickborn of St. George. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Stearns and Wayne Simpson.
