Raheem Freeman, former 6’3 shooting guard for the USC Salkehatchie basketball team, was selected to the NJCAA All-American team for 2015-16.
Freeman, who recently graduated from Salk and signed a scholarship to continue his basketball career at USC–Aiken, helped lead the Indians to back-to-back successful seasons shooting 50-percent from the floor. Also named First Team All-Conference, he averaged 22 points per game in the 2015-16 season.
“We, as a program, are extremely proud of Raheem and his achievement being named an All-American,” said Coach Corey Hendren. “We couldn’t be happier for a young man who is a perfect example of the expectations from our program. He comes to work every single day and strives to get better, little by little. I know he will have an outstanding career at USC-Aiken.”
