Thanks to the generosity of a Houston, Texas man, the students of Rosalee Arokiasamy’s class at Northside Elementary School can go high-tech.
Bob Funkhouser of Houston chose Arokiasamy’s students to benefit from his donation to Donor’s Choice, a grant organization supporting teachers nationwide.
Funkhouser and Best School Days decided to provide the $571 necessary to prove her classroom’s six computer tables.
Arokiasamy wrote the grant seeking to have the technical assistance provided her classroom. “If we provide the right tools in our children’s hands, we can free their potential toward creating a better tomorrow beyond their limitations,” she wrote in the grant application.
“My students are excited about this opportunity to explore learning trough technology,” Arokiasamy added.
