Police need help in identifying suspect | Crime | The Press and Standard

The Walterboro Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a black male who entered Griffin Jewelers, 689 Bells Hwy, on March 11 at approximately 11:55 a.m.
Once the suspect was inside the store he asked the clerk to see several items of jewelry at which point he took the jewelry and fled the store without rendering payment. The subject was seen leaving the area in a blue Ford sedan.
The jewelry is valued at over $5,000.00.
