Daisy Mae Cook | Obituaries | The Press and Standard

Miss Daisy Mae Cook of Moselle Road near Islandton, died early Thursday morning March 10 in the Colleton Medical Center.

Miss Cook was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Daniel Walter and Dessie Sullivan Cook.  She had retired from Devan Manufacturing Company in Allendale after 40 years of service, and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Moselle.

Surviving are: Two brothers: Ed Ray Cook of Islandton and Roy Henry Cook of Dorchester; Two sisters: Urell Stone of Islandton and Fay Bouknight of Irmo; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Michael Polk, with burial in the Carter’s Ford Baptist Church Cemetery in Lodge.

Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton located at 300 Mulberry Street West, from 5 to 8 PM Saturday, and Sunday until the hour of services.
