Author reads to Black Street students | News | The Press and Standard

About 50 students from Black Street Early Childhood listen to children’s author Robin Bee Owens read last Friday at the Colleton County Memorial Library. Owens’ books include Dabby and Maxie, Dabby and Maxie in Kentucky Bound, Swamp Fairy, The Wand, Three Children and a Blessing, God’s Soldier and Too Many Miracles. “I would like for children to remember that reading a book is like having an adventure,” Owens said.
