Three War Hawks selected for SCISA All-Star game

The rewards of winning the region and playing in the state championship game have materialized with the naming of three War Hawk football players to the SCISA North/South All-star game: quarterback Brian Murdaugh, linebacker Scott Kramer and defensive back Colton Fitzpatrick.
The game is scheduled to be played at Orangeburg Prep field Dec. 5th, at 11 a.m. Murdaugh was one of the keys to the success of the War Hawks this year from his quarterback position. He completed 102 passes out of 178 attempts for 1,581 yards and 20 touchdowns with only 7 interceptions. Murdaugh also rushed for 872 yards on 151 carries scoring 9 touchdowns. For the year, Murdaugh accounted for 29 touchdowns and over 2,400 yards in total offense.
Kramer was a mainstay on the War Hawk defensive side from his inside linebacker position.
For the year, Kramer accounted for 72 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 2 fumble recoveries, caused 4 fumbles and had 8 sacks.
Fitzpatrick was a force to be reckoned with from his defensive back position.
He accounted for 43 tackles, 5 pass deflections and 6 interceptions for the year.
