Linebacker Nick Salley has been selected to participate in the North/South All-Star football game to be played Dec, 12 at Mrytle Beach High School Stadium. Kick-off is set for noon.
Salley was a three-year lettermen and starter for the Cougars and was a mainstay on the defensive side of the ball. The 6’0,” 200-pound linebacker becomes the first Cougar to be selected for the All-Star team since 2008.
Coach Chris Collins said, “We’re real proud of Nick for receiving this honor. He has been a starter for three years and has worked hard to achieve this reward. He is an excellent leader, both on and off the field. He is a solid student who performs well in the classroom. All the hard work he done during his high school is paying its rewards at this time.”
